We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Therefore, anyone expressing oneself is indeed an artist, despite how much or how little practice you believe they need.
Don't use that as a defense for being a rude person and an irresponsible member of the Deviant Art community. Critique is certianly allowed, but being insulting and belittling to others certainly isn't.
Be respectful and kind, or don't expect the Deviant Art staff to do so to you.
